Intended Use
This dataset is intended to be used for training and evaluating automatic speech recognition (ASR) models. It may also be used for applications relating to computer-aided language learning (CALL) and language or heritage revitalisation.
qws)This datasheet is for version 24.0 of the the Mozilla Common Voice Scripted Speech dataset
for Quechua Sihuas Ancash (qws). The dataset contains 8977 clips representing 10.38 hours of recorded
speech (10.26 hours validated) from 12 speakers.
Sihuas Ancash Quechua, identified by the ISO 639-3: qws, belongs to the Quechua I group.
The dataset includes the following distribution of age and gender.
Self-declared gender information, percentage refers to the number of clips annotated with this gender.

Quechua language is written in the Latin script. All Quechua dialects form words by sequentially adding suffixes to a root and follows a Subject-Object-Verb (SOV) word order.
