Intended Use
This dataset is intended to be used for training and evaluating automatic speech recognition (ASR) models. It may also be used for applications relating to computer-aided language learning (CALL) and language or heritage revitalisation.
qvi)This datasheet is for version 23.0 of the the Mozilla Common Voice Scripted Speech dataset
for Kichwa (qvi). The dataset contains 13 hours of recorded
speech (12 hours validated) from 15 speakers.
Imbabura Highland Kichwa or just Kichwa, identified by the ISO 639-3: qvi, belongs to the Quechua II group.
The dataset includes the following distribution of age and gender.
Self-declared gender information, percentage refers to the number of clips annotated with this gender.

Quechua language is written in the Latin script. All Quechua dialects form words by sequentially adding suffixes to a root and follows a Subject-Object-Verb (SOV) word order.
