This datasheet is for version 23.0 of the the Mozilla Common Voice Scripted Speech dataset
for Ketrani (xhe
). The dataset contains 11 hours of recorded
speech (11 hours validated) from 11 speakers.
Language
Khetrani also called Khetranki is an Indo-Aryan language spoken in northeast Balochistan province of Pakistan mainly in Barkhan district but also in neighbouring districts, it is spoken by the Khetran people. About 200,000 people speak it.

Demographic information
The dataset includes the following distribution of age and gender.
Gender
Self-declared gender information, frequency refers to the number of clips annotated with this gender.
Age
Self-declared age information, frequency refers to the number of clips annotated with this age band.
Text corpus
To create the corpus the Khetrani native speakers generated the sentences by themselves. There are almost around 5000 sentences created by the native speakers.
Writing system
As the writing system of Khetrani language is Indo-Aryan (Indo-Arabic) similiar to Urdu and Saraiki languages, the same system is used for the corpus.
